#3 Pioneers probably didn't predict decade after decade of Palestinian irrational hate. That sort of thing will change a nation. When multi-generational hate is harnessed by leftest politicians, all bets are off. |

#1 Ashkenazi and Sephardi constantly intermarry. Russian and Ethiopians are also marrying Ashkenazi and Sephardi. So ethnically it is a melting pot. Religiously, there are some very tight groups of different flavors of Haradi or Hasidiim but those are a minority. Ride a bus from Bnai Brak to Jerusalem some time. All kinds of people. And in Jerusalem, the people pushing their way onto the light rail may be Hasidiim or IDF in uniform, or secular or Arabs. |
