[DAWN] QUETTA: A senior police officer was rubbed out by unidentified gunnies in Pishin area on Tuesday.Official sources said that some gunnies entered the official residence of Police Sub-Inspector Malik Dost Muhammad Awan in Pishin town and opened fire, killing him on the spot.
"The police officer posted at the Pishin cop shoppe went titzup after he suffered a bullet injury to his head," a police brass hat said, adding the attackers escaped after the incident.
Police and FC personnel rushed to the area and took the body to the civil hospital for an appointment with Dr. Quincy. Later, the body was handed over to family members.
The motive of the killing has not been determined so far.
No one has grabbed credit for the killing.
