Portland Protests: The Antifa Violence Is A Feature, Not A Bug
2019-08-20
[Victory Girls] To no one’s surprise, the Antifa violence at the Portland protests is a feature, not a bug. Yesterday Lisa wrote about Mayor Ted Wheeler’s super "tough" words about the planned protests. Did Antifa Listen? Survey says! NO.
"Portland police made arrests around town ‐ 13 by 3:30 p.m. ‐ as people posted video of the confrontations, including black-clad protesters breaking the windows out of a bus that was said to carry Proud Boys supporters. One person arrested on the east side was bleeding from the head.

Elsewhere, a large group of left-wing protesters encircled a man and what appeared to be a young girl in American-flag garb, taunting, threatening and chasing them.”
Four takeaways from that.

A. Antifa was absolutely wrong to use pepper spray and tasers to go after those they don’t agree with.

B. The masks and the get ups of both Antifa and the counter protestors...this isn’t ComicCon

C. WHAT THE HELL was that guy doing bringing his CHILD to these protests?? It wouldn’t surprise me if she spends the next while dealing with nightmares because of what the adult exposed her too!

D. All the cretins who then chased the guy and that little girl onto a highway ramp are why Antifa deserves ZERO consideration.

Elsewhere, a large group of left-wing protesters encircled a man and what appeared to be a young girl in American-flag garb, taunting, threatening and chasing them."

Does that report from Oregon Live sound innocuous? Yes. Police had to close streets and bridges in an effort to keep the various groups of protestors apart. Yet, that didn’t stop the Antifa punks from going after people verbally and physically.

#5  Congress should pass a law that crime forfeits government benefits. Maybe after the GOP wins the House.

#4  The disadvantage that the Right has here is that almost everyone will be employed or in some trade, indisposed for 24/7 of this shit. Antifa will be composed of unemployed welfare collectors and people on the DNC payroll. They can get paid holidays for this 'duty'.

Secondly, spreading mayhem and chaos needs no training or coordination. You just provide a direction for a mob and of it goes. While targeted crusade requires training, tactics and coordination. I'm not sure the 'proud boys' will have that. Clearly they need help.

That the police are afraid to lose their bloody jobs for touching antifas provides freedom from any fear or apprehension. The nationalists will not have that protection. In fact they are most likely arrested before the rioting even begins.

The right clearly needs players. Maybe those coming back from Afghanistan, Iraq veterans and ex-cops with some lead left can provide that ? If they did, the boys could run circles around these antifa and their federal protectors.

#3  The 1968 Chicago "Protest" Riots at the DNC Convention weren't spontaneous. As my older sister told me that on the University of Oklahoma campus there were several busloads of students going and they boasted that that "Chicago was going to burn!" if the SDS/Weathermen didn't get their way.
So it's in the genes -- Stormtroopers just gotta Stormtroop!

#2  I like it, ruprecht.

Note that the Panty-Fa loons are so cracked that they couldn't even recognize that National Review's Kevin Williamson was just tagging along with them, as a reporter. According to Williamson, at one point they actually began following him, thinking he wasn't just one of them but was actually the Panty-Fa Pantocrator.

All you need to go undercover, really, is some skinny jeans sagging down your arse and a hobbit-style black hoodie + black bandanna round your mouth.

#1  If I were the proud boys I'd have some spies join Antifa Portland and get as many names as possible of Antifa members as possible and to record evidence...

The list of members could then be used in case of a lawsuit, or to inform their employers/parents of their activities, or to go after their employers if the employers support Antifa, or simply to sew dissension among the scumbags and get them hunting for spies and purging their ranks.
