| Afghan Special Forces kill at least 16 Taliban militants in Logar province | |

| [KhaamaPress] The Afghan Special Forces killed separate operations in central Pashtun-infested Logar province killing at least 16 Talibs. The military officials said Sunday that the Special Forces conducted a raid in Pul-e Alam district of Pashtun-infested Logar killing six Talibs. The officials further added that the Special Forces destroyed a small cache of weapons during the same operation. Furthermore, the Special Forces killed 10 Talibs during a separate raid in the same district. The military officials also added that the Special Forces destroyed another small cache of weapons during the operation.
The residents said the operation was conducted in Babus village on the outskirts of Pul-e-Alam City, the provincial capital. The residents said women and children are among the victims. | |
