Dairy Queen forced to clarify its burgers aren't made with ‘human meat' |
2019-08-30 |
![]() "At Dairy Queen, we are very proud of our 100 percent beef hamburgers," the fast-food chain tweeted Friday. "We serve a high-quality hamburger with no additives or fillers." The statement was in response to a news story published by the Index-Journal, of Greenwood, SC, reporting that someone complained about "human meat being inside a burger" at the local Dairy Queen. Manager Saif Momin said that around 9:30 am on Wednesday, federal agents from the FBI and Homeland Security, as well as local South Carolina officials, appeared at the store in Greenwood. He then told the news outlet a corporate inspector told him someone complained there was "human meat" in a burger. |

#7 HAMLET To what base uses we may return, Horatio! Why may not imagination trace the noble dust of Alexander, till he find it stopping a Wormburger? HORATIO 'Twere to consider too curiously, to consider so. HAMLET No, faith, not a jot; but to follow him thither with modesty enough, and likelihood to lead it: as thus: Alexander died, Alexander was buried, Alexander returneth into dust; the dust is earth; earth containeth worms; and why of those worms, whereto he was converted, might they not stuff a burger? Imperious Caesar, dead and turn'd to smithereens, Might help the bottom line of many Dairy Queens: O, that that earth, which kept the world in awe, Should fill a sandwich to sate a gaping maw! |

#6 Love their ice cream, but earthworm meat would explain the taste of that one cheeseburger I ate once. |

#5 Some years back a VP at McDonald's had to explain that no, they didn't use ground earthworms in their burgers as earthworms cost much more per pound than ground beef. |
