| [Libya Observer] Libyan Army- affiliated Gharyan Protection Force shelled with heavy artillery positions of Haftar's militia groups in Urban town, southeast of Gharyan. Spokesman of Gharyan Protection Force Moataz Shanbar Saturday said that their forces are still in their positions and are ready to repel any attempt of Haftar's militias to advance towards Gharyan or to escape from the fighting axes south of Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... The Libyan Army launched a major attack at dawn on Saturday, on the positions of Haftar's militias in south Tripoli and managed to recapture several positions in Espiaa, Souq al-Khamis, Alkhala, Wadi Rabea, and Ain Zara. |
