Afghan forces kill 4 Taliban extortionists in Ghazni province

[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces killed four Taliban extortionists during an operation in South-eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
The Ghazni Governor’s Office said in a statement that the security forces killed the 4 Taliban extortionists in Aab Band district.
The statement further added that the four militants were occasionally setting up check points to extort people on Kabul-Kandahar highway.
Furthermore, the security forces destroyed 9 motorcycles of the militants together with a medical facility and some military kits during the raid.
The Governor’s Office also added that the security forces and civilians did not suffer casualties during the raid.
Taliban militants suffer heavy casualties in Ghazni clashes: Thunder Corps

[KhaamaPress] The Afghan forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during the clashes in South-eastern Ghazni province.
The 203rd Thunder Corps said in a statement that the security forces killed 12 Taliban militants and wounded 8 others during the clashes in Ghazni.
The statement further added that the security forces clashed with Taliban militants in Qarabagh, Deh Yak and Moqor districts.
Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the security forces also confiscated 2 motorcycles and a radio set of the militants.
The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the security forces defused 5 imrpovised explosive devices in Ghazni province.
