The crackers and frackers could hold the keys to 2020

[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] All Darrin Kelly wanted for the energy workers in Western Pennsylvania was that the Democratic presidential hopefuls would talk to them before going to war against shale.

That opportunity slipped away last Friday when Elizabeth Being Native American has been part of my story since the day I was born Warren

#21  Iranian backed drone attack on Saudi oil nexus crystallizes the problem. We won't skip a beat because of domestic oil production surge but the rest of the world will. Gerbilism will be shown for the scam it is and house of Saud will be buying and using Paki nukes.

#20  Yes, #16. I find myself posting Joseph Goebbels picture in comments responding to people like Mad Max with their open mouths and pointing finger;

#19  I'm happy we can finally tell the ME to go pound sand and eat their fucking oil.

We should all be not just happy, or delighted or blissful eternally f---ing GRATEFUL to everyone involved in this industry for achieving the miracle of delivering energy independence to this nation.

Which, btw, includes both the Ford and the Carter administrations for subsidizing the early research into what would eventually become proven fracking technologies. But that was an ea when Democrats actually supported US workers and actually shared the national goal of energy independence. Different times.

This achievement is truly extraordinary.

It is the story of the century thus far. And it has been almost entirely ignored by our idiot media, foolishly navel-gazing academics, and virtue-signaling moronic politicians.

History will absolve us - but only if we can end this media blackout and campaign of lies that have suppressed this glorious story of hope, freedom and independence.

#18  I'm happy we can finally tell the ME to go pound sand and eat their fucking oil.

The left would do everything they can to keep us indebted and the average voter a serf.

#17  What I cannot understand is WHY.

Vertical mobility: they don't want their kids having to compete on the level playing field with the children of the deplorables.

#16  Always funny to see politicians who believe money seeks them out rather than the other way around. Politicians make Mussolini poses and money doesn't even bother to laugh.

#15   What I cannot understand is WHY.

I'm sure that this is a simplistic reason but the why comes down to power. The American experiment is the best rejection of the tyranny they so desire. They believe that they are the chosen people that deserve to run everything and enjoy all the benefits. America doesn't allow that (except in a few hereditary cases like Bushes and Kennedys) unless you are diligent, intelligent and lucky, progressives are none of those.

#13  You should also hug the guys that drill the wells, if they let you. Not that I mind seeing our stock price go up, through I still wince at the price of gas. I doubt we'll see much gas price impact here, as the US industry supplies more than enough for our refineries.

#12  I see this all the time. Management can't manage customers but can bull whip employee's. Today's Democrat or media leadership is all about persecuting the American people but can't do a thing about the rest of the world.

#11  Now that 5 Million barrels a day are off line in Saudi Arabia we should all hug an American Fracker.

#10  This! "They hate America and everything it stands for. They cannot get their Communist Utopia built if people are allowed to do their own thing and get paid for it." Thank you AlanC. You nailed it. What I cannot understand is WHY.

#9  How the hell can they be so hostile to American workers?

They hate America and everything it stands for. They cannot get their Communist Utopia built if people are allowed to do their own thing and get paid for it.

This is just one more attempt at creating the New Soviet Man, a contingent that will allow the Sanders, Warrens, Buttplugs, Harrises et all to run everything for their own benefit.

Ditto #6 Mr. Brick.

#8  The Donk leadership and movers have all gone into the Church of the Green. It's a religion based upon faith not science (or they would have accepted the observed numbers haven't matched up with their hysterical false prophecies). They have no time to spend with 'real' people.

#7  Oh and the ONLY democrats I see in the oilfield are fresh young college grads or office people. People in the field have uniformly been very pro trump. What's worse, is these guys /hate/ unions. They see them as leeches which is why unions make zero headway in US oilworkers (In the field).
Posted by: Silentbrick   2019-09-15 07:17

#6  Lex, you have to understand they want nothing to do with with 'workers' ie people who get paid for work. Their preference is for slaves, in the past, now and forever. Workers still have a choice, which Democrats cannot abide. You WILL do what you are told to do and like it. Here's your slave collar.
Posted by: Silentbrick   2019-09-15 07:12

#5  WTF has happened to the Democratic Party? How the hell can they be so hostile to American workers?

Three generations of being taught that anyone who works with his hands is scum.
Posted by: g(r)omgoru   2019-09-15 05:39

#4  The Democrats abandoned their old base of workers. That's why Trump won, he scooped them up.

The difference between the two is now vast and I see no reason for that to change in the future.

#3  Do Sanders and Spouting Bull realize that by lowering energy costs, fracking has performed the equivalent of a $1,000-2,000 annual subsidy to every low-income American?

But it hurts their ME friends.

F---ing idiots.

#1  This industry and its story represent everything good and hopeful about this country: opportunity, independence, self-reliance, technology applied to solve really hard problems in ways that dramatically improve our lives.

Anyone who opposes fracking is not fit to be POTUS.
