The security forces conducted another airstrike in Chimtal district of Balkh which killed 2 Talibs, the officials said, adding that a similar airstrike in Gurziwan district of Faryab killed 2 Talibs.

#6  where's Besoeker these days; he seems to be on a hiatus?

As Frank G says, he is bumming around Europe, which will no doubt add direct observations to his comments on his return. But then, I am recovering from the better part of a week in Las Vegas before driving down to visit trailing daughter #2 and her no longer new husband for the last quarter of this month, which has impacted my own contributions here. Fortunately, Rantburg is a group project.
