Taliban’s shadow district chief and his comrades killed in Balkh clash |

22 September [KhaamaPress] The security forces killed the shadow district chief of Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... for Zari district of Balkh province during a clash on Saturday. The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement a group of Talibs clashed with the security forces at around 8:45 pm on Saturday night. The statement further added that the security forces responded to the attack killing Mawlavi Gul Ahmad alias Abuzar, the shadow district chief of Taliban for Zari. Furthermore, the security forces killed 8 comrades of Mawlavi Gul Ahmad and maimed at least 13 others. The 209th Shaheen Corps also added that the Air Forces provided close air support to the security forces during the clash. Two security personnel of the Public Uprising Forces also bit the dust during the clash and 4 others sustained injuries, the 209th Shaheen Corps added.
