| [ToloNews] At least three students were killed on Thursday when Pak military cross-border shelling hit a Madrasa in the eastern province of Kunar province ... which is right down the road from Chitral. Kunar is Haqqani country..... , local officials said. According to officials, Pak military have once again resumed shelling on parts of Shultan district. A front man for the provincial governor, Abdul Ghani Musamim, said that 180 missiles hit the district and one of the missiles hit a Madrasa, and three students--aged 9, 12 and 13--were killed. "The Pakistain military's repeated attacks on Kunar are acts of aggression against our soil and blatant violations of international law. I call on the government of Pakistain to stop these attacks immediately and prevent further damage to relations between the two countries, and to adopt a peaceful and civilized attitude towards Afghanistan," Karzai said in a tweet. In May 2019 Afghanistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) summoned the charge d'affaires of Pakistain’s embassy to denounce cross-Durand Line shelling by Pak military on parts of Afghanistan. |
