#5 #1 The whole problem is that 9/11 caused the direct opposite "Oh, what we did to poor Muslims to make them act like this? We have to show them that we are not bad people!" Agreed. My first reaction to the attacks on 9/11 was, "I wonder if we'll get the hint THIS time?" And when GWB uttered those inane words, "Islam is a religion of peace" I figured I got my answer. I shudder to think what kind of Islamic atrocity it will take for us to figure things out... |
