[ABC News] JESUP, Ga (WTGS) ‐ A high-speed chase in Jesup led to the arrest of two North Carolina gang members, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). GSP says the chase started Monday afternoon around 3:30 p.m., when Long County deputies received a call about a stolen vehicle out of North Carolina. The owner was tracking the SUV using GPS and called Long County officials and advised that the SUV was driving west on GA 38 in Ludowici. Deputies found the stolen Mercedes SUV reportedly driven by 21-year-old Daijon Tanner and another in the passenger's seat, Ray Jordan Jr., 21. Tanner fled from law enforcement. "Daijon, named after that mustard shit I like so much" GSP says the Long County Sheriff’s Office requested GSP’s assistance with the pursuit into Wayne County. The driver was traveling more than 130 mph down U.S. 301 heading towards Brantley County. |
