2019-11-13
[IsraelTimes] Egyptian and UN officials on Tuesday night were pushing for a ceasefire between Israel and Gaza terrorist groups, as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad vowed to step up attacks against the Jewish state in retaliation for the targeted killing of a PIJ terror chief... .

Mladenov "is heading urgently to Cairo," a diplomatic source told The Times of Israel on Tuesday night, adding that the international organization "has been involved throughout the day to de-escalate" tensions between Israel and terror groups in the Gaza Strip. ...

[IJ only launched a half dozen or so rockets between late evening on the 12th and dawn on the 13th]

#6  Since Egypt, Fatah, UN and Russia are the ones seeking a truce (i.e., a hudna), rest assured that the thing they are looking for is a cease fire - by Israel.

#5  AC, for Arabs - especially Gazans (population density) people are cheap. But buildings cost money. And, with fracking & USA terminating UNWRA's jizya, money is in short supply.

#4  Targeting buildings is a fine idea as long as they are full of PIJ, Hamas, UN, etc.

#3  Put all of those Gazooks to the sword.

#2  From the liveblog: As of a few minutes ago, today’s PIJ rocket tally is over 200 for a two-day total of over 400. More are expected overnight. Israeli retaliation has killed 24 Gazans, at least half terrorists. Hamas threatens to join in the festivities instead of just offering moral support; Israel promises that if they do, Israel will start destroying buldings as they did in 2014.

Naftali Bennett seems to be happily settling into his role as defense minister. He is, as I recall, one of Bibi’s proteges, who went on to forge his own path. But having seen that conditions are not yet ripe for his own prime ministry, he has returned to the fold.

#1  as of a few minutes ago, the rocket count for IJ is about 250 so IJ was able to put up about 40-45 rockets during daylight on the 13th

I think almost all the IJ rockets launched daylight on the 13th were under 40km
