2019-12-19
So tell me again why we can't have urinals?

"I need some tamp-ons, maam."

"What a sweet man, buying them for your girl."

"Nope. I am a warfighter."

#19   I still wouldn't want to be caught dead holding one.

For first-aid purposes, you want one that hasn't been used yet.

#18  They may be good for landing a friggin' plane without landing gear. I still wouldn't want to be caught dead holding one. I'm sure one can find products meant for all those things.

#17  Remembering to take them out, that's the key.

#16  actually tampons are pretty good for dealing with nose bleeds

#15  Plugging holes? No. But you can unwrap the plastic and unravel the tampon and make a sucking chest wound bandage. You can utilize the tube to filter water, and barring the whole entire sucking chest wound situation you can utilize the string to fish with snake gut bait. On the whole, I would rather a stout knife and a lighter.

#14  Seems like Tampons might be good for cleaning shotguns.

Small bore, maybe

#13  Makes sense sort of.

If you are going to let a woman pretend to be a man and use the mens room she may still have the need for Tampons.

Also when they find that the same tampons are still in there a decade later we can statistically understand the trans-scare of 2017-19 much better.

#12  Better to pack wounds with a coagulant impregnated gauze is what I found when looking into what to put in my medical kit. Easier to get out, and supposedly works better. Not as cheap though.

And of course, Israeli compression bandages.

#11  Darth, I guy in my unit once told the medic exactly this. The answer was "Extracting is hospital's job - mine to get you there alive."

#10  Finally - nothing says 'civil rights' like men's tampons!

#9  Where I work they really have mini thins and tampons n the men’s restroom. As far as I can tell they aren’t used for some reason. I often thought about opening one, throwing away the contents, and just leaving the empty box to F with peoples heads.

#8  Good for plugging bullet holes, I understand.

No... please don't. Tampons expand and when the clots form around it... now ya got to get it out. Pulling it out causes a lot of damage and tearing.

Also, I call on the ACLU to hang themselves so we can get rid of the lower IQs and bring humanity to more of an IQ equity.

#6  Menstrual equity for men is called being punched in the nose. Oddly enough, tampons do work to stop the bleeding.

Hey, maybe we need tampon dispensers on every street corner in murder-prone urban areas.
Posted by: SteveS   2019-12-19 01:58

#3  Well, I knew some combat medics who always carried tampons with them.

#2  menstrual equity, minestrone, monster energy...

It's all so confusing.

#1  Dang. Not the Bee.

I suppose next thing will be urinals in the women's room.
