To be fair, I didn’t worry about such things when I was that age. It was only once the trailing daughters were born that I started to even think about it, and only once they were in school that I started actually getting flu shots. And then there’s the announcement that this year’s flu shot doesn’t match the virus in the wild...

#2  Well, we're in the midst of the centennial of the Spanish flu epidemic, and that "1917" movie just came out.

Maybe they're just nostalgic for the 1910s.
