  • Advocacy group Blue H.E.L.P. released data showing at least 228 police officers killed themselves in 2019, compared to 132 who died in line of duty

  • It is the highest number of police suicides since start of data collection in 2016

  • New York state lead with 27 self-inflicted deaths, followed by California with 23 and Texas with 19

  • Overwhelming majority of officers who took their own lives in 2019 were men

  • More than 80 per cent of the officers who fell victim to suicide were white

#2  If they used their guns to off themselves, they simply add to the statistics screamed by gun-grabbers of killed by guns.

Meanwhile, suicide by car doesn't merit consideration. How many fatal DUIs are related? We'll never know.
