A crocodile in Indonesia has had a tyre stuck on its head for years ‐ and there's a reward for anyone brave enough to get it off |
2020-02-01 |
According to Indonesia's state-run Antara news agency, the crocodile has had the tyre around its neck since at least 2016, though it's unknown how it got there. Antara reported that the crocodile may be a Siamese crocodile, a species native to southeast Asia that's critically endangered, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Fewer than 1,000 of the crocodiles are thought to be left in the wild. |
