#3 We had a student do the blood oxygen and pulse using the sub-windowing technique on the video imagers about 13 years ago. Could even tell areas on the body from a distance where oxygen rate and temperature were different. We did it so we could tell if a finger put in a fingerprint sensor was from a live person. Then we used it to determine if a person was alive at a distance. |

#2 If they are using near red IR they should also be able to pull out a blood oxygen reading and pulse. |
