| [Rudaw] Coronavirus has already ground daily life in Iraq to a halt ‐ but disarray in Baghdad threatens to worsen the economic forecast amidst a price war that continues pinching global oil markets. Oil prices globally plummeted by nearly half in the past week, with crude prices dipping as low as $35 a barrel as a result of a standoff between rivals Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... and Russia. |
