#5 Digital means poor kids will need computers and bandwidth but actual schools and teachers, well bullying goes away an d the best teachers can have students from any number of districts. The poor urban schools excuse will no longer apply in a decade or so. Of course this means it might be easier to brainwash the masses. |

#4 It's a racket. Why charge students massive $$money$$ for a new, New and rewritten Calculus book each year? Print out new group of math problems for homework purposes on cheap newsprint, maybe, but why the massive attack on their pocketbooks. It gets even sillier when teachers insist on selling their own textbooks(!). Hooray for the Digital Age! |
