The Helmand Police Headquarters in a statement said a roadside kaboom went
kaboom!in Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand, killing at least 8 civilians and wounding 2 others.
The statement further added that the bomb destroyed a vehicle which was carrying members of a single family.
Several women and kiddies were among those killed or maimed in the earth-shattering kaboom, the Helmand Police Headquarters added in it statement.
