#16  Ref #14: ....there can only be so many reasons why they are so adamant in their opposition to the wall.

Their urban Democratic constituents are dope dealers. A border wall exasperates throughput.

#14  Talking about bets: I'd be willing to wager that some of these cartels have corrupted certain politicians in our country. I mean, there can only be so many reasons why they are so adamant in their opposition to the wall. The obvious reason is they want the illegal immigrant vote but a more immediate incentive to oppose the wall would be a suitcase full of cash.

#13  Venezuela is nextdoor to Colombia so it's a pretty good bet they have access to cocaine. Another good bet is they would not hesitate to do some dealing if they thought it might bring them some hard currency. Smack 'em down hard, Mr. President.

#10  Lefties seem to think of things as one pie. If you do this you are taking away from that. How can you fight against drugs when you need to concentrate on the virus.

World doesn't work that way. US don't need to sit idle and just let bad actors ramp up while we are distracted.

#6  Trump is showing the asymmetrical nature of his leadership. Something we haven't seen for a while.

It has to be driving the deep-state folks absolutely nuts.

#3  Mr Trump added that the US was co-operating with 22 partner nations, enabling the US Southern Command to "increase surveillance, disruption and seizures of drug shipments and provide additional support for eradication efforts which are going on right now at a record pace".
