| Greta Thunberg Slams Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal |

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, telling Rolling Stone in a recent interview that the Green New Deal would not do nearly enough to avert an impending "climate crisis." Thunberg, who graces the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone, shared her thoughts on Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal in a wide-ranging feature piece published on Thursday. According to the Swedish teen, the Green New Deal will fail to achieve climate change activists’ goal of keeping global temperature change below 1.5 C, the stage at which calamitous environmental changes begin. |
