#4 I was reading about Veronica Lake at wiki. Lake was born Constance Frances Marie Ockelman. She was married and divorced 3 times. She had 4 children, one a boy who died shortly after birth after Lake fell over a lighting cable at the studio during her pregnancy. She acquired a taste for alcohol; apparently with some zeal as she later died from cirrhosis of the liver, acute hepatitis and acute kidney injury as a result at age 50. During her life, she had things together enough to get a pilot's license. |
