| #1 Anyone else snort about the poetry bit? The items were sent in boxes displaying the words of 13th century Sufi Poet Jalaluddin Rumi: 'There is hope after despair and many suns after darkness.' Says the article. I think Rumi is getting pumped about the establishing of the Ottoman Caliphate. This time period also encompasses the Persian Muslims getting whallopped by the Mongols, more so than everyone else getting rolled by the Mongols at this time except what we now know as Russia. |
