Schiff on Flynn: 'This dismissal does not exonerate him. But it does incriminate Bill Barr'
2020-05-08
Pencilneck liar shakes tiny fists, bugs eyes, stomps tiny feet, and hopefully prepares for bitchslapping
[Wash Examiner] House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff excoriated the Justice Department for dismissing charges against President Trump's former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

"This dismissal does not exonerate him. But it does incriminate [Attorney General] Bill Barr," the California Democrat said in a tweet Thursday, calling the move indicative of "the worst politicization of the Justice Department in its history."

Flynn pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his illicit Russian contacts.

His lies do not now become truths.

This dismissal does not exonerate him.

But it does incriminate Bill Barr.

In the worst politicization of the Justice Department in its history.

In a court filing Thursday, the Justice Department said the "continued prosecution of this case would not serve the interests of justice."

Flynn, who served as Trump's national security adviser for less than a month, pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his conversations with a Russian diplomat before Trump entered the White House.

Flynn cooperated with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election but took a more combative approach after replacing his legal team. His new attorneys aggressively fought the charges against Flynn, who declared his innocence in January and claimed he was set up by the FBI.

Schiff, who led the impeachment investigation against Trump, criticized Trump in March for his "attacks" on the justice system after the commander in chief announced he was "strongly considering" a pardon for Flynn.

"He was an innocent man. He is a great gentleman," Trump said Thursday.

#16  "This does not exonerate him." "Trump is impeached forever." "The next prexident can reinstate the charges." How long before just being questioned by the authorities results in getting a tattoo on your forehead and a microchip?

#15  Because Barr was so fantastic at investigating the largest honey pot pedophile Epstein ring, Obama IRS targeting and Vegas mass murders... Not a fuking tho thing will come of this.

No charges, no Muzzy Obammer deposition, nothing. Treason, child rape and murder are useless information. Done.

#14  He is speaking to the lefty zealots that only read headlines and need a fig-leaf to keep the charade going.

I'm looking forward to folks going through the Schiff intelligence documents released recently. What did you know and how long did you know itMr Schiff?

#12  District 6 eh, Woodrow? Give Tom my regards and tell him not to let the door hit his behind on the way out. I'm sure there's a low-wattage AM radio station where he can peddle his views.

#11  The problem with doubling down is that, in the vernacular of our time, it's a multiplicative process. Too many applications and the once useful, throw away tactic becomes a de-facto strategy. Does the beady eyed congressman really want to plant his flag and die on this hill with all that's in the public domain?

#10  /\ I see nothing wrong with a state funeral with caisson, and full pension for his widow. Bitte, das auto wartet.

#9  Now we get to the interesting point. Will the GOP congress members demand Shifty resign? Not a chance in hell.

I for one am going to ask my spineless GOP rep Tom Emmer our local RINO super puss himself resign. That should be an interesting phone call.

#4  Time for Trump to pull the plug on the deep state swamp and drain it completely. Trump said he'd take Flynn back into the WH. How about a position of Punisher-In-Chief?

#1  What possible legal basis could that ass use that will not be immediately demolished? How has he not been taken apart by the opposition? Someone needs to take him to court for defamation and lying.
