F-22 Crashes Near Eglin - Pilot Safe |
2020-05-16 |
Love the plane. Hate the price tag. An F-22 Raptor crashed Friday morning during a routine training flight near Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The F-22, assigned to the 325 Fighter Wing, crashed at approximately 9:15 a.m. Eastern time. The pilot was able to eject safely and is being evaluated by the 96th Medical Group at the base, she said. The crash occurred roughly 12 miles northeast of Eglin on the test and training range; no injuries have been reported. |

#4 That was expensive. As long as they learned not to do that again, it's not a bad investment. |
