[Daily Wire]![]() The owner of a manufacturing company in Minneapolis that was burned to the ground during last week’s violent riots has announced that he is relocating his company, taking dozens of jobs out of the city, due to the failure of the city’s Democrat leaders to protect businesses. “They don’t care about my business,” Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., told the Star Tribune. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.” As he watched a nearby business burn to the ground, Wyrobek noted, “The fire engine was just sitting there, but they wouldn’t do anything.” “The city’s first survey of property damage shows that nearly 1,000 commercial properties in Minneapolis were damaged during the riots, including 52 businesses that were completely destroyed and 30 other locations that sustained severe damage,” The Star Tribune reported. “Owners and insurance experts estimate the costs of the damage could exceed $500 million. That would make the Twin Cities riots the second-costliest civil disturbance in U.S. history, trailing only those in Los Angeles in 1992, which were also sparked by racial tensions with police and had $1.4 billion in damages in today’s dollars.” Wyrobek told The Star Tribune that it was too late to change his mind about keeping his company in the city, adding that before the riots, he never in his “wildest nightmare” would have thought about relocating his business. |

#12 “They don’t care about my business,” They do. It's a symbol of their subjugation. I wonder who will be left at ground zero after all the entrepreneurs and people with money left leave. |

#11 Because nothing says good times with structure fire like people walking or driving through the work area. |

#10 Relocating somewhere else will be pointless unless they leave the state. Get out of blue states. |

#9 I wouldn't be too harsh on the fire department, they were probably waiting for the police to show up and protect the firefighters from the "peaceful protestors". |

#8 Bill comes due in November. Who will bring jobs and economic growth that decades of the Dems set up to be destroyed in a week? Biden economy vs Trump. Things look anti-Trump now, but reality has a way of opening eyes. |

#7 Heaven forbid it won't happen again somewhere else. Any hopes for anything short of heavenly intervention? |

#6 "Fire engine just sat there". Mr. Wyrobek, I wish you well. And it is disgusting (but not at all surprising) that the fire engine stood idly by. I hope you find a good, new location. Heaven forbid it won't happen again somewhere else. |

#5 As he watched a nearby business burn to the ground, Wyrobek noted, “The fire engine was just sitting there, but they wouldn’t do anything.” Sort of leaves a lasting image and memory now doesn't it ? |

#4 Coming soon: If you want to sell business insurance in this state your policies must say you only pay if the insured agrees to remain in the state under such circumstances. |

#3 #2 "You're Raycisss if you don't rebuild here, so we can burn it down again" A variation of "It's sexist not to mentor us" in the wake of #MeToo. The designated Badperson must never fight back and must always make themselves available for punishment. |
