| #6 No way to know about the Thin Man. But he could be waiting it out. I imagine the US election and actual conditions on the ground are somewhat opaque to them, reporting notwithstanding. So, let his sister make some noise and it will appease and aid Beijing and there will be no harsh words between Kim and Trump. If Trump wins re-election it's easy enough to for Kim to re-appear and try and rekindle a relationship with the President and by that time things in China may be very different indeed. Still and all he could be on ice in the basement. |
