Chick-fil-A CEO Tells White Americans to Shine Black People's Shoes as a Show of Humility |
2020-06-19 |
Or, at least, more involved. On Sunday, something unusual took place. During a discussion on race among Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, Pastor Louie Giglio, and Christian rapper Lecrae at Atlanta’s Passion City Church, Dan encouraged white people to repent of their racism. As reported by The Buck Sexton Show, the son of chicken-chain founder S. Truett Cathy signaled a call to non-melanated America: "We as caucasians, until we’re willing to just pick up the baton and fight for our black, African-American brothers and sisters — which they are as one human race — we’re shameful. We’re just adding to it." |

#17 Quite telling of Mr. Cathy. Do go on, what are other traditional black chores, other than shoe shining and eating chicken of course, and about the expected footwear of those you would associate with - light loafers perhaps? |

#15 There is a difference between humility and submission. Also, is it cultural appropriation for people of African heritage to wear Western-style shoes? Asking for a friend. |
