#9  I have wondered for some time now at how beleaguered local and state law enforcement are by the massive informal networks of socialist and anarchists across the country. Given the interstate afire of their various organizational efforts one would expect federal law enforcement to own that investigative duty. But, given the manpower limits and caseload imposed by external forces like hostile foreign powers and political mandates, I think they are hard pressed to look at much of the vast spectrum of criminal conduct. Into that void, what groups of skilled professionals who are cooling their heels after careers in that field and how might a smart volunteer association harness those surveillance, analysis and target folder building skills to offer up prepackaged investigative footwork to expedite matters. Inquiring minds might want to know among the cadre of such denizens here! Am I the only paranoid person here who thinks we are one the cusp of a genuine revolutionary moment being exploited by the forces of evil during this perfect storm of recent events.

#7  For those interested, the Antifa movement had its genesis in the infiltration of Marxists (many Californians) in the Social Sciences at the U. of Oregon, Eugene in the mid- to late 1960s. There were more bombs set off there than any place on the East Coast. There were more professors threatened. The tie between the terrorists and the Port Huron, and New York City Black Power groups was solid. Since that time the U. of Oregon has trended left and is now over the cliff. Its graduates have found a happy home in Portland and use it as a Revolutionary petri dish to make their fondest dreams come true. Portland is gone. There is no remission for Antifa's sins.

#6  Clandestine intelligence operations, that's how you gain convictions,

How do you get dead instigators and pay masters?

#5  Ref #1: A most excellent opportunity for infiltration

Clandestine intelligence operations, that's how you gain convictions, both inside the department and outside. Not serious about convictions? Then disband special crimes units, internal affairs, and foreign liaison guys.

Peter Maas's biography of NYPD officer Frank Serpico, who went undercover to expose corruption in the police force. Both Maas's book and the film cover 12 years, 1960 to 1972.

#1  A most excellent opportunity for infiltration, by the FBI if they were interested in such things, or someone intent on doing a little internal monkeywrenching on Antifa schemes.
