| #7 Ah, a Hot Air link. From the ABC site: While views are similar among registered voters, Biden loses ground on three of these items among those who are likeliest to vote. Also: Methodology This ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone July 12-15, 2020, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 1,006 adults, including 845 registered voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points for the full sample and 4.0 points among registered voters, including design effects. Partisan divisions are 30-24-39%, Democrats-Republicans-independents. So, less than a quarter of the participants were avowed Republican. I guess it's possible that GOP registration is actually down to that percentage, but what are the odds? Nice try, though. |

I don’t doubt the “unity charter” between Biden and Sanders makes no written statement about defunding the police. But here’s the problem with Chris Wallace’s fact-check: it’s still wrong. Joe Biden, absolutely, one-hundred percent, no doubt about it, called for the defunding of police. In fact, it happened just over a week ago - Joe Biden says “Yes, absolutely!" to “redirecting” police funding and calls them “the enemy.” |
