Shock report: Margaret Good [Guess the Party!] voted against bill to outlaw child sex dolls
2020-08-26
[FloridaPolitics] In 2019, the Florida Legislature voted unanimously to pass a bill making it illegal to sell or possess child-like sex dolls. Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the bill shortly after it reached his desk, and it has been on the books since October.

Or at least that’s how it was reported at the time.

House vote records, however, show that Rep. Margaret Good
(D-Sarasota)
switched her vote from a yes to a no days after it cleared the Legislature. The change made Good, a Sarasota Democrat, the only lawmaker out of 160 members of the House and Senate to vote against the bill.

Vote changing isn’t rare — three members of the House who missed the roll call cast yes votes after the fact. For Good, however, it was the only instance in the 2019 Legislative Session where she switched her vote, all but guaranteeing the switch would go unnoticed."

#15  They really only need to make 5-6 of these. The delivery man will also deliver the free, extra bonus of two shots to the head to remove the purchaser from the gene pool.

#14  Bob, I was thinking more along the lines of child abduction in there area that would be the first place to knock.

#13  How about an FBI background check, before they can take it home?

#12  yea, just sell them but with a built in camera to monitor the subject

and pick a random Karen to do the monitoring. i'm sure they would be willing to offer their services. it's for the children after all

#11  Make them legal and monitor who buys one. Might be useful later.

#7  Most people ride bicycle as kids. Most people ride cars, not motorcycles, as adults.

#6  As I said, I have no idea. But I'm willing to bet the subset of people who ride motorcycles but never rode a bicycle is small.

#5  Riding a bicycle is not a gateway to riding a motorcycle.

#4  There's also the theory the doll could be a "gateway drug" fueling desire for the real thing. I'm not a psychologist / psychiatrist, so I have no idea.

#3  If they masturbate with dolls, or Internet, they leave real children alone - n'est-ce pas?

#2  I'm not sure i disagree with Good. Plus can they stop anything like this coming in from out of state. Also bureaucrats regulating "morality" tends to have a sub-optimal history..

I'd want as much evidence and warning from a deviant as possible, to prevent them abusing.
