Man killed in suspected terror attack in central Israel
2020-08-26
[Ynet] Medical officials say they found a 35-year-old Haredi man with stab wounds to his upper body at Segula Junction in the city of Petah Tikva; a Palestinian suspect with a work permit, was arrested following a manhunt and transferred to the Shin Bet.

A citizen who was walking nearby saw the incident, shouted "terrorist" and started chasing after the Palestinian. He grabbed the suspect and waited for police to arrive.

The suspect is a resident of Nablus in the West Bank, he is married and a father of six. He does not appear to belong to any Palestinian terror groups.

#1  Good find, g(r)omgoru. Neither The Times of Israel nor the Jerusalem Post had enough information in their articles on the subject to understand why this might be considered a jihadi attack, and as it was late, i didn’t look further.
