Nancy Pelosi says Joe Biden should not debate Trump at all

Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she wanted debates scrapped to not "legitimize a conversation with [Trump]" because he lacks "any association with truth."

She also said Biden should deny the president an opportunity to "act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency."

The leading Democrat’s call for Biden to sit out the debates comes after the former vice president’s campaign refused Trump’s request for more than three debates.

Trump senses an opportunity against Biden after using debating forums to crush a series of competitors in 2016. This month, Trump unsuccessfully asked the Commission on Presidential Debates to reschedule one of the debates with Biden to early September, so voters could tune in before casting mail-in ballots.

Trump often claims Biden, 77, is senile, and on Wednesday suggested that Biden be drug-tested before the debates to make sure he doesn’t use performance-enhancing drugs.

#11  I'm sure there are enough clips of Biden talking that they could put Trump on stage, let him answer a question, and then play a Biden clip that makes old Joe look bad. The media would never go for it, but who says they have to? Just let the same people who did such a great job with the RNC do it and put the whole thing out there like a long commercial.

#2  I remember when Biden debated Paul Ryan in 2012. I'm sure Nancy remembers too but prefers not to speak about it. Almost every time when it was Ryan's turn to speak, Biden would interrupt and talk all over whatever it was Ryan was trying to say. He was like an obnoxious old drunk in a bar who needs to have a taxi called for him. It was disgusting. But, then, that's the way democrats debate because they know they'll lose if their opponent gets to speak. Tim Kane tried it on Pence but made himself look ridiculous in the process. I think the worst example of this behavior was when Lloyd Bentsen interrupted Dan Quayle to tell him he was no Jack Kennedy. Quayle should have taken it as a complement. Hillary didn't dare pull that shit on Trump and it's doubtful that Biden even has it in him anymore. The only way to prove that he does is to debate.
