![]() Pro-Palestinian activists say they have long emphasized building relationships with other marginalized communities, arguing that struggles for freedom and against oppression are interconnected. These activists marched with protesters in Ferguson, Mo., after the killing of Michael Brown by a police officer in 2014. The next year, over 1,000 Black activists signed a statement of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. ![]() But across the U.S., the pro-Palestinian stance of some groups within the social justice movement has disturbed pro-Israel Jewish groups.
