| Female drill instructors are heading to all-male Marines boot camp in San Diego as the service moves to make entry-level training coed a 'top priority' |

| [MAIL] Female drill instructors may start training recruits at the Marine Corps' historically all-male recruit depot in San Diego, part of a year-long congressional mandate requiring entry-level training to be coed for the Marines. Commandant Gen. David Berger made the announcement on Thursday during an event hosted by Defense One, Military.com reports. 'All of our female drill instructors are on the East Coast,' he said. '... We're going to run a couple trials this wintertime actually moving drill instructors from South Carolina to San Diego [on temporary duty] and train recruits on the West Coast to see how this is going to work.' Female drill instructors train at the Marine Corps' East Coast schoolhouse, eventually leading recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. |

| #3 I remember when they tried this in IDF for reservists' refreshment training. A girl came up to us - walking and talking like a bad ass (I blame American Marine basic movies). And, when she thought we are not paying her proper attention, shouted "You don't give a damn!". Except the corresponding Hebrew expression translates, literally, as "you don't put a dick". There being 90+ reservists, half a dozen immediately replied - speaking almost in unison - "Excuse me miss, what's my dick doing in your mouth?". She run away crying. All kinds of brass came to scream & threaten us - like what're they going to do, put us all in jail and recruit another reserve unit for the planned operational deployment? |
