| #16 #15, thats a lie. Its misinformation that has been making its way around the internet. Make an informed choice, but make it based on facts, not bullshit. There are specific formulations, killed virus, vs attenuated (weakened) virus, versus recombinant DNA (which produce synthesized parts of the protein sequence, and have no direct viral components at all in them). But NONE have any of the SARS or COVID19 virus in them. The nasal inhaled one is the one with live, attenuated viruses. Typical quadrivalent one has 4 viruses it works against. New this year: the next two are High Strength typically for the elderly or those with less responsive immune systems. Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent: this is active against the 4 viruses mentioned, but in a higher dose to more strongly stimulate the immune system. Fluad Quadrivalent: contains the 4 above, plus an adjuvant, a natural compound that can be made from vegetable oils or, more commonly, shark liver oil, to elicit a stronger immune response. If you have egg allergies, one of these next two are what they will give you. If you don't want any parts that were originally in the virus, ask for Flublok. Flucelvax: cell-based cultures made without eggs, using instead cells from mammals. safe for anyone with egg allergies. have been found in some independent studies to be 10 to 30% more effective. Flubok Recombinant, the one recombinant vaccine that is FDA approved for the 2020-2021 season is completely egg-free vaccine for those with egg allergies. The following is whats in the vaccine. What the vaccines contain: Flu innoculant (either synthesized proteins, or pieces of dead virus, or attenuated live virus, depending on which vaccine you choose) A(H1N1)pdm09 : Type A flu, from the avian Pandemic 09 version, killed virus protiens. A(H3N2) : Type A Flu, a variant of the 2009 H1N1 swine flu, seen with the 09, and also seen in 2012. B/Yamagata : Flu type B, seen widely last year, and seen this year in the early season in Australia. B/Victoria : Flu Type B - pdated from B/Colorado/06/2017 strain Note: No SARS-CoV or SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) Other stuff: Saline solution. Most of them: egg proteins (wits what they replicate the virus in before its killed (or attenuated). The synthesized one does not have these. Thimerosal: usually only found in multi-dose vials and vials that need to be preserved for longer durations, such as 3rd world usage. Generally not found in US vaccines. Antibiotics: preservatives to prevent contamination. Formaldehyde: trace or remnant amounts from the process used to kill the virus. At a level lower than already naturally occurs in your body. Sugar or gelatin: preservative effects. Aluminum Salts: boosts the reaction of the immune system. Not in all formulations. Not in large amounts. THIS IS NOT IN THE VACCINE BUT ITS IMPORTANT TO KNOW ANTIVIRALS: if you get the flu anyway (or elected not to get the vaccine and get the flu): Several antivirals can shorten the duration and reduce the severity as long as you can get the drug (and diagnosis) within 48 hours of onset of symptoms. Tamiflu is the usual one, but there are several new ones this year. And there you have it. |

| #11 The quality of life for the elites increases as the quality of life of middle and lower class decreases. Now they can go to the Kentucky Derby without all those, ugh, plebes making noise. They get on the short list of spiffy vacation destinations which are now no longer crowded. Imagine your social status value increase if you were able to get a ticket to an exclusive event which only 1/4 the number of invites will be sent compared to last year. |

| #10 Math. Show your work: is that the IFR or the CFR? How did you arrive at the % figure used? What is the demographic breakdown of your data? ALL of those have massive implications in the formulation of public policy. If, as usual, they are only going by the reported cases, then they are likely off by a factor of 10x or more. If you do not stratify risk by age, then you are likely hiding the fact that nearly all fatalities are in the older age brackets, with comorbidities. And if you are not reporting fatalities against the general population, then you are inflating risk, and simply spreading fear. |
