#3 Some people think fasting includes abstinence from food and water which is wrong. There are various definitions, depending on the need. The Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) fast allows nothing past the lips from after dinner of the evening to full dark the following day, while antiwar activist Cindy Sheehan felt keenly that smoothies were not actually food, as I recall, and in Israeli jails some of their hunger strikers quietly fill up on hidden chocolate bars. |

#1 Some people think fasting includes abstinence from food and water which is wrong. Only food. You go four days without water and you are going to have severe problems. |
