| #5 I agree. I don't much like the word "hoax", either. The virus is real, and for the moment, whence it came isn't important. Perhaps the 'hoax' is the relative seriousness of COVID-19 and the snow job governments at numerous levels around the world have perpetrated (with the aid of the Silicon Valley slime). |

| #4 Interesting analogy comes to mind. The virus is most dangerous in people who experience a cytokine storm -- an over reaction of the immune system. Well, the virus is most dangerous in a society that overreacts as well. |

| #3 Hoax is the wrong word. There is a virus, and some vulnerable people have succumbed to it. People are scared, and demanding that elected officials 'do something.' So they have done something. A whole lot of the wrong something, but something. And now they cannot admit they were wrong, so instead they double down. All perfectly predictable. |
