Clawing back votes: 7 states allow voters to resubmit ballots
2020-10-27
Another reason to keep it simple and vote in person on Election Day. But it’s nice that there is an option for all those who googled what to do if they wanted to change their vote.
[FoxNews] Seven states allow voters to resubmit mail-in ballots after they have already sent them in to be counted, according to 37 out of 50 state election officials who responded to inquires from Fox News.

The laws allow residents in seven states who have already voted for select candidates by mail to change their minds, usually within a specific time frame after the first ballot has been cast. In some states, voters can resubmit ballots several times.
The states are:
Arkansas
Connecticut
Delaware
Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin
New Hampshire
Details at the link.
Other states allow residents to withdraw their mail-in ballots and vote in-person on Election Day, including Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and New Mexico. Some of these states require voters to sign an affidavit canceling their absentee ballots before voting in person.

Voters in most states can also receive new ballots if they have incorrectly filled out their first ballots so as long as they have not been submitted and they contact their local election clerks on time.

#8  Had some of the Biden corruption been revealed earlier, some voters might have gotten it right the first time without the buyer's remorse.

#7  But will Antifa take it lying down?

I hope so: in handcuffs.

Or bleeding out...

#6  On the surface, claw back works to Trump's advantage since there have to be a few folks with Biden-Buyers' Remorse. But given the general Donk death grip on the election process in my home state of MN, I'm more worried about a raft of Trunk(mp) votes suddenly being recalled after Simon declares the "requests" to all be valid.

#4  #2 - Gorb, Antifa is driving security-minded voters to Trump IMHO

See the problem there? You now have three documents to assemble and verify to count one vote. And all after election day. Not good.

#1  Those states matter. PA most of all.

But 3 are the cheese:

Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin

Those 3 are key to Trump winning. Any one of those 3 goes Trump along with PA and FL, and Trump likely wins. 2 of the 3 and its a definite win. All 3 would be a landslide or a big win even without PA.

NH is also important as a bellwether in that it indicates movement toward the GOP in certain groups of voters that can swing other states.

GOP should be doing outreach commercials in "Had enough of Joe's anti-fracking? Tired of Biden hiding? Debate Changed your mind? Here's how to change your vote!"
