Trump will run for presidency again if he loses, says former chief of staff
2020-11-06
[IrishTimes] Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
would "absolutely" run for the US presidency again if he loses this election to Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...Candidate for president in 2020. When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'...
, the president’s special envoy for Northern Ireland Mick Mulvaney has said.

Mr Mulvaney, who served as Mr Trump’s White House chief of staff before taking up his current role, said the US president did not like losing and he would be younger than Mr Biden is now if he decided to run in 2024.

"I would absolutely expect the president to stay involved in politics and would absolutely put him on the shortlist of people who are likely to run in 2024," he said on a webinar hosted by the Dublin think tank, the Institute for International and European Affairs.

The former Republican congressman described Mr Trump as a "very high-energy 74-year-old" who he expects to be "further engaged in 2024 or 2028 if he were to lose this next election".

#6  I would dump the info into the public anyway as it'll be buried.

#5  I'm hoping the Trump has told all the scum Dem leadership, through back channels, that if he loses via cheating, that he has no problem dumping all the dirt he has on all of them prior to leaving office.

At this point, they may be hoping that he pulls through.

#4  Trump has shown he is popular. If they go after him he will certainly run again. I suspect they'll talk but but mostly lay low and hope a more Romney-like competitor show sup in 2024.

#3  /\ The dems are going to make an example out of him.

Exackery correct. His evil offspring and other like minded people must be discouraged from politics and public service.

#2  No he wont. The dems are going to make an example out of him. They will bankrupt him with investigations. The republicans will adhere to rule number 1: First priority is to survive, and they will not defend him. Its time to start looking now.

#1  I'm not sure a Trump part 2 in 4 years is a good idea. I like his policies, and we need someone who fights like Trump, but without the baggage (fair or not) to bring things together.

I'm not sure who though.

I'd also like to see a replacement for Fox News show up. Maybe that's where Trump comes in if all goes wrong.
