 countries approved a draft resolution that spoke of the Temple Mount solely as an Islamic holy site, by referencing it only by its Moslem name of al-Haram al-Sharif.

All those European countries that go on about Israel in public have been quietly seeking trade deals with her in private, because the so-called Innovation Nation has products and businesses they want to buy. China and the other Asian tigers, too.

Also, if Biden/Harris’s America does throw their weight behind Iran and against Israel, Israel will be the only protection against Iran that the Sunni oil nations have. As is now coming out, they have been quietly dealing directly with Israel for a decade.

And while right now the Sunni oil countries are struggling because of low oil prices, if Biden/Harris fulfill their promise to roll back American fracking, oil orices will go back up and the Sunni oil countries will have even more money to pay for Israel’s military help.

How so?

If Harris/Biden together with the other UN great powers threaten to impose crippling sanctions on nations deviating from UN orthodoxy, the Jerusalem recognition will have only been a brief mirage.

Also Iran will now be a US backed reinvigorated local (soon nuclear) hegemon with the proven ability to project asymmetrical force globally.

No one will provoke a dangerous Iran and risk sanctions just to make a symbolic point about Israel.
