Taliban Designated ‘Shadow’ District Governor Killed in Bamyan |

[KhaamaPress] Local officials in Bamyan province say the Taliban ...the Pashtun equivalent of men... ’s appointed governor for Shibar district has been killed. Bamyan Officials said in a press statement on Saturday, that Amanullah, the bad boy’s designated shadow district governor for Shibar, was killed by security forces on Friday afternoon. The Bamyan provincial press office said in a statement that the Taliban designated governor was also involved in the "Darah-e-Shekari" bombing, where nine members of a special police unit were killed. In addition to the killing of the Taliban shadow governor, "Isaaq Cherik", the Taliban’s Red Unit commander is also among the severely injured. The central province of Bamyan is one of the safest provinces in the country, but once in awhile Taliban fighters have been active in some parts of the province.
