[Bongino Report/Rumble] A little more upbeat than some of the articles here, lately. Tucker Carlson, 3:48.

I've learned at lot at the 'Burg, but still can't embed this video.

At the Rumble.com link there is a button below the video that says Embed. Clicking on that yields a pop up window offering a choice of JavaScript embeddable player and an Embed IFRAME URL. I tried pasting each one here... with no result. So clearly this needs skillz greater than my end user ability. No doubt one of the many mavens here will know or will figure out the answer for us.

#4  To embed YouTube videos here you have to do this:

Within the embed tag, the src="" property needs to have the YouTube video url stripped down to the bare minimum with \embed\ inserted the simplified url. You usually start out with a gawd awful url like with https:\\www.youtube.com\junk junk junk watch=rtu89gfje or something really long like that.

Simplify the url and insert the "\embed\" phrase like this inside the embed tag, https:\\www.youtube.com\embed\rtu89gfje then do your width="400" and height="215" properties in the embed tag. Then close then close the embed tag with the greater than sign followed by < /embed >.

Keep hitting the Preview button until it is just right size and you can see the video image and then click Submit.

#3  Great country. Greatest political design ever. Resilient, flexible and stable political institutions.

But incredibly shitty politicians in the current era. Lots of shitty media, entertainment and corporate weasels too.

How did we get such corrupt and incompetent bastards? The explanation has to be cultural, probably something deep and fundamental change to how we raised and taught recent generations of Americans.

Seems to be a lot of truth to this analysis that places the blame on the culture's hatred of "the father, the Father and country or la patrie"

#2  American is a great country, and the people a great people.

But we've let our politicians become little more than an organized crime ring. It's time to sweep out the worst of them -- the Democrats -- and then work on cleaning up what's left.

#1  Let's see how Christmas goes this year. And from what I hear Venezuela was once a beautiful country as well.
