| #6 Inquiring minds want to know which iron was used on this (a)hole. I don't know about that asshole but this one really digs a 7-iron, one of the clubs I used to get my only par on the golf course (I've golfed maybe a dozen times, and that was thirty+ years ago). Had a nice drive off the tee but it went right and the par-4 hole broke that way. I was golfing with my father and I said - 'I want the 7-iron; I'm going to clear that tree and drop it right off the green'. He says 'I gotta see this', and I cleared that tree by six inches, tops. Lands right next to the green so out comes the pitching wedge - three feet from the fuckin' hole, from about 40 feet out, and I didn't choke on the putt, winning $5 from my old man who was sure I was gonna choke. |
