Opposition kidnapped leader of military police in Syria's Bab |

[NPASYRIA]A Syrian opposition group kidnapped on Monday, a leader of the Syrian opposition military police in the city of Bab, eastern Aleppo, north Syria. Militants of the Hamza Division, a Syrian opposition group, kidnapped Muhammad Ali Tawil, known as Abi Ibrahim, the former head of the military police in the city of Bab, a military source told North Press. The kidnapping of Tawil took place near the village of Tal Battal after he attended a meeting of local tribal heads and sheikhs in Bab, the source added. The opposition-held areas have been witnessing several detentions, kidnappings, and repetitive explosions, in light of the opposition groups’ inability to settle the area. In November, a local source told North Press that gunnies killed Hussein Jabali, an official in the civil police of the Syrian opposition groups near a mosque in the city of Bab. The |
