Taliban Battered in Uruzgan, Helmand Provinces |

According to the statement, the Taliban initially carried attacked against the security post, where they suffered heavy retaliation in Gizab district of the province. "5 Taliban were killed and 4 others were maimed in Gizab district of Urzgan province, yesterday," said MoD in a tweet. "They were preparing to attack #ANDSF positions when they were targeted by ANA and AAF. Additionally, 1 tunnel and 2 of their strongholds were destroyed as a result," the tweet added. "Also, a large amount of their weapons were destroyed during reciprocal attacks of #ANA."
