"6 #Taliban were killed and 5 others were maimed after they attacked #ANDSF positions in Mizan and Arghandab districts of Zabul province, yesterday," said the MoD in a tweet.
According to the statement, a huge amount of their arms and ammunition were wrecked during festivities.
"Also, a large amount of their weapons and ammunitions were destroyed as a result of reciprocal attacks," the tweet added.

in another news for Faryab, at least five Taliban were killed in Qaisar district of the province after they attacked ANDSF positions on Thursday morning, said the MoD.
The Taliban did not immediate comment on the claims.
